Vice President of Urban Development and Sustainability – COPARMEX Mexico City
In his role as Vice President of Urban Development and Sustainability at COPARMEX Mexico City, he contributes to the development of strategies aimed at strengthening business competitiveness, innovation, and sustainable development across the capital.
From this position, he promotes collaboration between the private sector, business organizations, and public authorities, while supporting initiatives designed to strengthen Mexico City’s business ecosystem. His institutional work also encompasses initiatives related to urban housing development and the advancement of policies and institutional frameworks within the city’s healthcare sector.
National Vice President of Tourism – COPARMEX
At the national level, he serves as National Vice President of Tourism at COPARMEX, contributing to the development of strategies and public policy initiatives aimed at strengthening the growth, competitiveness, and international positioning of Mexico’s tourism sector.
His responsibilities include developing national public policy proposals, shaping COPARMEX’s International Tourism Strategy, and overseeing the organization’s participation in international tourism fairs and industry events. He also promotes strategic partnerships and institutional agreements with business chambers and organizations in Mexico and abroad, while contributing to the development and monitoring of national competitiveness agendas for the tourism sector.
President of the Tourism Commission – COPARMEX Mexico City
As President of the Tourism Commission at COPARMEX Mexico City, he played an active role in designing strategies to support the recovery, development, and long-term competitiveness of Mexico City’s tourism sector.
During his tenure, he spearheaded the “Impulsa Turismo CDMX” program, fostering collaboration among business chambers, local governments, hotels, restaurants, and tourism operators. He also developed initiatives aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of tourism through technology-based tools and QR-enabled information systems, while participating in strategic working groups focused on strengthening the sector’s competitiveness, resilience, and capacity for recovery.
National President – United Commission Against Human Trafficking
As National President of the United Commission Against Human Trafficking, he led the organization’s institutional strengthening and the development of national strategies focused on the prevention, response, and reduction of human trafficking.
During his tenure, he spearheaded the development of the National Manual on Human Trafficking and contributed to the design of a National Shelter System aimed at strengthening protection, support, and recovery mechanisms for victims and survivors. He also promoted public policy initiatives addressing human trafficking through a comprehensive approach and developed programs focused on the long-term support, reintegration, and empowerment of survivors, including initiatives designed to help them achieve stable and independent lives.
National President of Education – CANIRAC
In this role, he led a nationwide assessment of the training, education, and professional development needs of Mexico’s restaurant and hospitality industry.
Based on this assessment, he contributed to the evaluation and definition of CANIRAC’s national education strategy and developed the CANIRAC University model, conceived as a specialized platform for professional education and industry development. The initiative culminated in the establishment and launch of CANIRAC University in Durango, creating an educational framework directly aligned with the evolving needs of the restaurant industry.
National President of Development – CANIRAC
As National President of Development at CANIRAC, he contributed to the development of CANIRAC’s National Development Plan, designed to strengthen the organization’s institutional structure, capabilities, and long-term strategic direction.
Among his key initiatives was the development of a National Member Benefits Program and the creation of a National Institutional Development Program, aimed at enhancing the organization’s value proposition while strengthening its capacity to represent, support, and deliver services to businesses across the restaurant industry.
National President of Franchising – CANIRAC
As National President of Franchising at CANIRAC, he championed the adoption of franchising as a strategic growth and expansion model for businesses across Mexico’s restaurant industry.
During his tenure, he established an institutional partnership with the Mexican Franchise Association and contributed to the development of strategies and growth plans designed to facilitate the expansion of restaurant businesses through franchising. These initiatives helped promote franchising as a scalable business model and opened new pathways for growth and market expansion within the industry.
National President of Training and Professional Development – CANIRAC
In this role, he led the development of a national training and professional development strategy for Mexico’s restaurant industry.
During his tenure, he established institutional partnerships with universities and educational organizations, helping create CANIRAC’s National Education System. He also developed a strategic partnership with CONALEP, strengthening the relationship between the restaurant industry and Mexico’s national vocational and technical education system.
